Technical Description
The DDSZ-E1 is designed for the experiments for the courses of "Electrical Machines & Drives", "Relay Control", "PLC Control Technology" and "Factory Electrical Control", which address the requirements of colleges and vocational schools. It is also a useful platform for teachers and post graduates to explore new experiments.
This equipment consists of a power control panel, a desk with metal framework, and optional lab-exercise units designed to perform different experiments in accordance with the curriculum and teaching programs. The modular concept benefits updating and expanding of experiments. Safety is paramount during the development of this equipment and every effort has been made to protect both the user and instruments.

(1) DD01 power control panel
1) AC power supply
3-phase 380V, single-phase 220V, 3-phase variable 0~450V, and single-phase variable 0~250V;
With protections against overcurrent, short circuit and leakage.
2) DC power supply
220V @0.5A for excitation, 40~250V @3A for armature.
3) Timer & alarm recorder
Function of lab service supervision including lab time set, alarming at expire time, password setting, faults inquiry, clock display, request etc.
4) AC voltmeter
Indicating power mains input and regulable voltage output;
Measuring range: 0~450V; accuracy: 2.5%.
5) DC voltmeter
Indicating excitation and armature voltage.
6) Components
Three illuminated fuse holders @10A; one fuse holder @1.5A; two reset buttons; multi indicating LEDs; one fluorescent lamp (220V, 40W) and corresponding switch.
Several 3-pole blue sockets for providing 220V voltage; several 4p XLR sockets for providing 33V voltage and overrange alarm signal; one 380V 4p socket; one 220V 3p socket; one 220V double-breasted flush socket; and two stainless steel tubes for mounting experimental units.
7) Safety system
Available protection devices: a 3-phase isolation transformer, two voltage type leakage protectors, a current type leakage protector, fully shrouded sockets and safety test leads.
(2) DD02 experimental desk
The desk is used for holding power control panel and lab-exercise units, it is moveable with steel framework. The design of cabinet and drawers facilitates storing wires, and facilities, etc.
(3) Optional lab-exercise units
1) DD03-3 kit
The DD03-3 unit provides a stainless steel guide rail, a rotary encoder, and a rotation speed meter. All components are easy coupled on a slide-rail base.
2) DD03-4 kit
The DD03-4 kit consists of a rotary encoder and an eddy current dynamometer. All components are easy coupled on a slide-rail base.
3) DD05 torque kit
It comes with a torque frame, a torque disc, and a spring scale.

This unit consists of a DC digital voltmeter (0~1000V), a DC milliammeter (0~2000mA), and a DC ammeter (0~5A). All meters feature -digit display, and their measuring accuracy are 0.5%, with functions of alarm, indicating and cutting off power if over range.
25) D31-2 intelligent DC V/mA/A Meter
This unit consists of an intelligent DC voltmeter (0~300V), an intelligent DC milliammeter (0~1000mA), and one intelligent DC ammeter (0~5A). All of them feature -digit display, with functions of alarm, indicating, cutting off power if over range, communication with PC, and storing up to fifteen groups of data.
26) D31-3 intelligent DC V/mA/A Meter
It is the same as D31-2.
27) D32 AC digital/analog A meter
It includes one true RMS A meter (0~5A) and two AC A meters (0~5A), with functions of alarming, indicating, and cutting off power supply if overrange.
28) D33 AC digital/analog A meter
It comprises one true RMS V meter (0~500V) and two analog AC V meters (0~500V), with functions of alarming, indicating and cutting off power if overrange.
29) D34-3 intelligent P/COSφ meter
It consists of two power/power factor meters and one power meter, featuring microcomputer, high speed and high accuracy A/D conversion chip and digital displayed circuit. The power measuring accuracy is 0.5%, input voltage ranges from 3 to 450V, and current ranges form 5mA to 5A, with functions of storage and recording 15-group measuring results.
30) D34-2 intelligent P/COSφ meter
The D34-2 is the same as the D34-3 unit except a communication function.
31) D35 intelligent true RMS A meter
It includes three intelligent true RMS ammeters with function of data recording.
32) D35-1 intelligent true RMS A meter
The same as D35 unit except a communication function.
33) D36 intelligent true RMS V meter
It includes three intelligent true RMS voltmeters with function of data recording.

The D41 unit consists of three coaxial resistors (90Ω×2/1.3A, 150W), 1.5A fuse protection for each. The resistors can be used as motor load or starting resistance and such.
40) D42 adjustable resistor
The D42 unit includes three coaxial resistors (900Ω×2/0.41A, 150W), 0.5A fuse protection for each. The resistors can be used as motor load or field resistance and such.
41) D43 adjustable reactor
The D43 unit is equipped with one fixed reactor (127V@0.5A) and one autotransformer (0~250V).
42) D44 circuit components
It contains two coaxial resistors (90Ω×2/1.3A/150W and 900Ω×2/0.41A/150W) with fuse protection for each, capacitors (1μF/500V, 2μF/500V, 35μF/450V, 4μF/450V), two double-pole double-throw switches, and two power resistor (10kΩ/8W, 20kΩ/8W).
43) D46 capacitor
It consists of three adjustable power capacitors (0~2.7μF). All the terminals are brought out to the faceplate.
44) D47 frequency meter/counter
It is provided with a frequency meter and counter.
45) D51 waves test & switch
The D51 unit comprises waveform tester, two 3-pole 3-throw switch, and one 2-pole 3-throw switch.
46) D52 synchronizing lamp/switch/excitation power supply
The D52 unit provides three groups of lamps (yellow/green/red), one switch and an excitation power supply.
47) D53 synchroscope
It consists of one synchroscope and one three-pole three-throw switch.
48) D54 step motor control
The D54 unit is capable of setting various running status for 3-phase/4-phase/5-phase step motors, presetting number of steps for step and continuous operation, and performing various drive modes of 3-phase step motor and reversing operation.
49) D55-3 intelligent torque/rotation speed/power test
The D55-3 unit is capable of measuring the torque, rotation speed and power for various DC/AC motors, features MCU technology and digital displayed circuit in human-machine mode, with functions of storage and recording 15-group measuring results.

59) D61 relay contact control (1)
The D61 unit provides three AC contactors, one thermal relay, one time relay, three push buttons, one transformer, one bridge rectifier, and a brake resistance, with all ends being terminated to the faceplate and clearly symbol marked. It is capable of performing the lab exercises of motors including jogging start, Y-〉 start, interlock, and self lock control.
60) D62 relay contact control (2)
This unit consists of two intermediate relays, one thermal relay, four limit switches, one pushbutton, two 3-pole 3-throw switches, one 2-pole 2-throw switch, three fuses, and one pilot lamp, with all ends being terminated to the faceplate and clearly symbol marked.
61) D63 relay Contact Control (3)
The D63 unit includes two intermediate relays, one time relay, two pushbuttons, with all ends being terminated to the faceplate.
62) D64 relay Contact Control (4)
It is the same as D61 in addition to two limit switches and one time relay (the operating voltages of contact and relay are 380V).
63) D65 PLC & its simulation (1)
The D65 unit is equipped with a Mitsubishi FX1S-20MR PLC, a Mitsubishi FX-20P-E programmable controller, DC 24V power supply, three PLC applications (basic instructions exercises, 3-floor elevator, and vending machine), and overvoltage protection is available. All the input and output terminals of PLC have been brought out to the faceplate, facilitating connections.
64) D65S PLC & its simulation (2)
The same as D65 unit except Siemens CPU224 PLC is adopted.
65) D66 PLC application (1)
Application modules: 4-segment conveyor belt, Y/〉 start control, liquid mixer, and robot arm, with all ends being terminated to the faceplate.

Application modules: step motor, water level of tower, LED display, assembly line, and traffic lights, with all ends being terminated to the faceplate.

The D68 unit contains a Mitsubishi FX1N-40MR PLC, a Mitsubishi FX-20P-E programmable controller, DC 24V power supply, three PLC applications (basic instructions exercises, 4-floor elevator, and vending machine), and overvoltage protection is available. All the input and output terminals of PLC have been brought out to the faceplate, facilitating connections. Its features and protection system are the same as D65 unit.

It is the same as D68 unit except a Siemens CPU224 PLC is adopted.
